Overview
Your OpenDay account is your hub for personalized features, order tracking, and wishlists. This guide covers how to manage your profile, security, and preferences.
To access your account, click your profile icon in the top-right corner and select Account Settings.
Profile & Privacy
In Account Settings, you can update your personal and privacy information.
- Personal Information:
- Name: Your display name in chats and reviews.
- Email: Used for order confirmations and notifications. You may be asked to verify your email for security.
- Profile Photo: Personalize your account.
- Location: Helps show relevant sellers and shipping estimates.
- Privacy Controls:
- Public: Your username, profile photo, and any reviews you've written.
- Private: Your email, phone number, order history, and payment methods.
- Controls: You can make wishlists private, post reviews anonymously, and manage your data preferences (like browsing history).
Security Settings
Protect your account with these essential tools.
- Password Management
- Change Password: Go to Security Settings and select Change Password. You will need to enter your current password.
- Forgot Password: Click Forgot Password on the login page to receive a reset link via email.
- Tips: Use a strong, unique password of at least 12 characters. A password manager is recommended.
- Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)
- Why use 2FA? It adds a crucial extra layer of security. We highly recommend enabling it.
- How it works: After entering your password, you'll enter a one-time code from your phone (via SMS or an authenticator app like Google Authenticator or Authy).
- To enable: Go to Security Settings and follow the setup instructions. Save your backup codes!
- Login Activity
- Review active sessions, see logged-in devices, and sign out remotely. If you see suspicious activity, change your password and enable 2FA immediately.
Payment & Shipping
- Saved Addresses
- Go to Addresses to add, edit, or delete shipping and billing addresses.
- Set a Default Address to speed up checkout. You can save multiple addresses (e.g., "Home," "Office," "Gift").
- Saved Payment Methods
- Go to Payment Methods to add or remove credit/debit cards.
- Security: Your payment details are securely managed by our payment processor (Stripe). Your full card number is never stored on OpenDay servers, and your CVV is never saved.
Preferences & Notifications
Control your site experience and how we communicate with you.
- Wishlist Management
- Click the heart icon on any product to add it to your wishlist.
- Create multiple lists (e.g., "Birthday," "Home Decor").
- Make lists public to share with friends and family.
- Get notified of price drops or when items are back in stock.
- Following Sellers
- Follow your favorite sellers to get updates.
- Manage notification preferences per seller (e.g., notify when they go live or post new products).
- Notification Settings
- Go to Notification Settings to control email and push notifications.
- Email: Choose between instant alerts, a daily digest, or only critical order updates.
- Push (Mobile/Browser): Get real-time alerts for live streams, order status, and messages.
- Quiet Hours: Set times when you do not want to receive notifications
Order History & Communication
- Order History
- Go to Orders to see all past and current orders.
- From here, you can track packages, contact sellers, request returns, or leave a review.
- Social Connections
- Connect your Google, Facebook, or Apple account for faster, one-click login. Manage these in Linked Accounts.
- Messages & Reviews
- Communicate with sellers directly through your account's message center.
- View, edit, or delete all reviews you've written. You can also choose to post new reviews anonymously.
Other Settings
- Language & Location
- Set your preferred language and location to see correct shipping costs, taxes, and currency.
- Accessibility
- We support screen readers, keyboard navigation, and high-contrast modes. Manage these options in Accessibility Settings.
- Account Closure
- You can request to permanently delete your account from the Security settings page.
- This action is permanent and will erase your personal information, order history, and wishlists. Before deleting, please complete any pending orders.

How do I change my email address?
Go to Account Settings -> Profile. You will need to verify the new email address.
What if I forgot my password?
Click Forgot Password on the login page to get a reset link.
Is my payment information safe?
Yes. All payment details are securely managed by our processor (Stripe). We never store your full card number.
Can I delete my order history?
You cannot delete individual orders for record-keeping purposes, but all order data is permanently erased if you close your account.
