Explicit Content Policy

At OpenDay, we're building a safe, welcoming marketplace where sellers can connect with buyers through live streaming. To keep our community enjoyable for everyone, explicit content is strictly prohibited across the entire platform.


This policy applies to all users — sellers and buyers alike.

What We Consider Explicit Content

Explicit content includes, but is not limited to:


  • Nudity or sexual content — Full or partial nudity, sexually suggestive poses, or sexual acts in any form (images, video, text, or audio)
  • Pornographic or adult products — Items intended for sexual use, adult media, or anything marketed with sexually explicit imagery
  • Graphic violence — Content depicting real-world violence, gore, or extreme harm
  • Hate speech or symbols — Slurs, imagery, or language that targets individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, or disability
  • Drug-related content — Promotion, sale, or depiction of illegal drug use or paraphernalia
  • Dangerous or harmful activity — Content encouraging self-harm, dangerous challenges, or illegal behavior

Where This Policy Applies

This policy covers every part of OpenDay, including:


  • Live streams — Everything shown on camera, spoken aloud, or displayed on-screen during a broadcast
  • Product listings — Product images, titles, descriptions, and tags
  • Profile content — Profile photos, bios, and channel banners
  • Chat and messaging — Live stream chat messages and direct messages between users
  • Usernames and display names — Your chosen name must not contain explicit language

What Happens If You Violate This Policy

We use a graduated enforcement approach:


  1. First violation — Warning

    You'll receive a notification explaining the violation. The offending content will be removed. Consider this a heads-up to review your content.

  2. Second violation — Temporary suspension

    Your account will be temporarily suspended. During this time, you won't be able to stream, list products, or interact on the platform. You'll be notified of the suspension length and reason.

  3. Third violation — Permanent ban

    Repeated violations will result in a permanent account ban. This action is final and includes removal of all your content from the platform.


Note: For severe violations — such as content involving minors, illegal activity, or content that poses an immediate safety risk — we reserve the right to skip the warning stage and immediately suspend or permanently ban your account.

How to Report Explicit Content

If you come across content that you believe violates this policy, please report it right away. You can:


  • Use the report button — Available on live streams, product listings, profiles, and chat messages
  • Contact our support team — Reach out to us at support@openday.com with a description and, if possible, a screenshot

We review all reports promptly and take action as needed. Your reports help keep OpenDay safe for everyone.

Tips for Sellers

Keeping your content within our guidelines is easy. Here are a few quick tips:


  • Review your product images before publishing — make sure they're appropriate for a general audience
  • Be mindful during live streams — remember that your audience may include people of all ages and backgrounds
  • Check your language — avoid explicit, vulgar, or hateful language in descriptions, chat, and on camera
  • When in doubt, leave it out — if you're unsure whether something crosses the line, it's best to err on the side of caution
