Explicit Content Policy

At OpenDay, we are building a safe, welcoming marketplace where sellers connect with buyers through live streaming. To keep our community enjoyable for everyone, we strictly prohibit explicit content across the entire platform.


This policy applies to all users—both sellers and buyers.


What We Consider Explicit Content

Explicit content includes, but is not limited to, the following categories:

  • Nudity or Sexual Content: Full or partial nudity, sexually suggestive poses, or sexual acts in any medium (images, video, text, or audio).
  • Adult Products: Items intended for sexual use, adult media, or goods marketed with sexually explicit imagery.
  • Graphic Violence: Depictions of real-world violence, gore, or severe physical harm.
  • Hate Speech and Symbols: Language, imagery, or slurs that target individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, or disability.
  • Drug-Related Content: The promotion, sale, or display of illegal drugs and related paraphernalia.
  • Dangerous or Harmful Activity: Content that encourages self-harm, dangerous physical challenges, or illegal acts.

Where This Policy Applies

This policy covers every part of the OpenDay platform, including:

  • Live Streams: Anything shown on camera, spoken aloud, or displayed on-screen during a broadcast.
  • Product Listings: Titles, descriptions, tags, and product images.
  • Profile Content: Bios, channel banners, and profile photos.
  • Communication: Live stream chat messages and direct messages between users.
  • Usernames: Your chosen display name must remain free of explicit language.

How We Enforce This Policy

We use a graduated enforcement approach to handle policy violations:


First Violation: Warning

We will send you a notification explaining the violation and remove the offending content. Please use this notice to review your content and ensure it aligns with our guidelines.


Second Violation: Temporary Suspension

We will temporarily suspend your account. During this time, you will lose the ability to stream, list products, or interact on the platform. We will notify you of the suspension length and the specific reason.


Third Violation: Permanent Ban

Repeated violations result in a permanent account ban. This action is final and includes the complete removal of all your content from OpenDay.


Note on Severe Violations: For extreme cases—such as illegal activity, content involving minors, or immediate safety risks—we reserve the right to bypass the warning stage and immediately suspend or ban your account.


How to Report Explicit Content

Your reports help keep OpenDay safe for everyone. If you find content that violates this policy, please report it right away using these methods:

  • Use the Report Button: Find this tool directly on live streams, product listings, profiles, and chat messages.
  • Contact Support: Email us at support@openday.com with a description and a screenshot of the issue.

Tips for Sellers

Keeping your content within our guidelines is simple. Follow these quick tips to maintain a safe environment:

  • Review product images before you publish them to ensure they suit a general audience.
  • Stay mindful during live streams. Remember that people of all backgrounds and ages may be watching.
  • Check your language. Avoid vulgar, hateful, or explicit words on camera, in chat, and in descriptions.
  • Leave it out if you feel unsure. Erring on the side of caution is always the best approach.
